Sonny’s story was a privilege to work on for many reasons, but mainly because it felt so real. Sometimes when people share their story, everything ties up with a neat bow at the end, but Sonny wasn’t afraid to share his honest back-and-forth journey with recovery, and it reminded me that this is how real life is.
